Steve has asked me to create a forum for the discussion of pool cooler design and building.  I think it is really starting because I forgot some details about his cooler and he wants to clear that up.  ;)

i have no technical ability and the glazier seems expensive couldn't you use a cheaper old evaporative cooler that people put on roofs but just add a pump to bring the water in

Construction Details

If you go to build one of the 26" x 8' PVC panels from Lowes not HD (Opaque PVC not translucent white polycarb) to get the 30 or so degree slope of the ribs we divided the 8' panel into 5 segments (19 3/16th ea) and draw diagonal lines between each point. I laid up 8 panels marked the top one and used a jigsaw to cut them all at once. Or you can do it the Dave way and cut each one at time and get lots of little cuts in your arms trying to make tin snipes cut wavy razor edged PVC. The segments will than be trapezoid you have to put a square on each end and cut off the small triangles. Wow now I'm confused maybe I should draw this to explain....
